Collection of personal information
We never collect any personal information (such as e-mail address, name or street address) unless a visitor has chosen to provide that information to us. We do not use techniques that collect personal information without your knowledge. We always clarify why we are collecting any personal information, and how it will be used.
At various locations throughout the site, you may elect to send us an e-mail -- in order to request more information, provide comments or suggestions, or to opt-in to our e-mail list. Visitor e-mail queries or comments are read and dealt with, then deleted.
We do not sell or provide any personal information, submitted through our Web sites, to third parties without your consent. (In the unlikely event that Landlie, or substantially all of its assets, is acquired then our customer lists will of course be one of the transferred assets.)
Use of non-personal information
When you visit Landlie Consulting Ltd. Web sites, we may automatically record certain non-personal information about your visit. Client visits to our subscription area are tracked by assigning an incremental number.
We also log a visitor's IP address, host name and time of visit. When a subscriber searches one of our online databases we monitor the subscriber's usage only with respect to the amount of time spent on the database. We do not monitor or track any specific searches performed on our databases.
The limited non-personal information that we do collect helps us to understand how traffic flows through our site. It also assists in our planning for new content and online services. We may provide summary statistics about traffic patterns, consisting of anonymous aggregate data, to a reputable third party. These statistics do not contain personally identifiable information.
E-mail for marketing purposes
From time to time, we send e-mail messages to people who have opted-in to our electronic mailing lists. We use these messages to announce special information related to Landlie as well as to distribute general news affecting the industry.
Every e-mail message that you receive includes an e-mail address where you can respond if you wish to be removed from our mailing list. In that case, we will promptly remove your name and e-mail address. We will also remove from our electronic mailing list your mailing address and telephone number, upon your request.
