Lake and Ravine Lots

The lot grading certificate for a lot located on either a Stormwater Management Lake, a ravine, or the top of a bank must display the location and elevation of any and all features where the grading falls within a right-of-way, easement, restrictive covenant or Maintenance and Overflow Area registered in favour of the City. This will help the Lot Grading Inspectors to assess the impact of these features on the overall grading.

Features include, but are not limited to: decks, fire-pits, ponds, paths, bridges, retaining walls, raised gardens, and any unusual alterations.

Note: Underground sprinklers are prohibited in these areas.
